The management team of Universal Investment and Development Company (UIDC) Limited recently paid a courtesy visit to the Honourable Commissioner for Economic Planning, Dr. Sonny Akporokiamo Ekedayen, at his office in Asaba, Delta State on July 07, 2025.

During the meeting, the Ag. MD/CEO of UIDC Limited, Mukoro Godwin shared insights into the company’s service offerings, which are designed to promote economic inclusion and empowerment. These services include:

1. Consumer Credit for Civil Servants
2. MSME Loans
3. Capacity Building and Entrepreneurial Training

The discussion emphasized UIDC’s strong presence and active operations in Delta, Edo, Rivers, and Bayelsa States, and the company’s strategic expansion plans to extend services to Cross River and Akwa Ibom States.

In response, the Honourable Commissioner expressed appreciation for the visit and acknowledged the synergy between UIDC’s objectives and the Delta State Government’s economic development agenda and the ease of doing business in Delta State. He stated:

“It was a pleasure to receive the team from Universal Investment and Development Company (UIDC) Limited. We had a productive conversation around potential investment initiatives that could enhance financial access for Deltans and support our broader goals of sustainable economic growth. I look forward to exploring ways we can collaborate to improve the quality of life for our people.”

 The visit reinforces UIDC’s commitment to building strong partnerships with government institutions to create impactful financial solutions and support the growth of micro and small businesses in the South-South region.
