On Wednesday, May 21, 2025, the Acting Managing Director/CEO of UIDC Limited, Mukoro Godwin, FCA, led a high-level management delegation on a courtesy visit to Dennis Osadebay University, Asaba. The visit coincided with the University’s 1st Annual International Conference themed “Building Resilience Against Hunger: Addressing Nigeria’s Food Insecurity Challenges.”
The UIDC team was warmly received by the Vice-Chancellor, members of the University Management Team, Deans, Directors, and Heads of Departments.
During his address, Mr. Mukoro expressed deep appreciation to the University for the warm reception and used the opportunity to introduce UIDC Limited’s Consumer Durable Loan Product — a tailored credit facility designed to provide civil servants, including university staff, with easy access to affordable financing through direct salary deductions.
Mr. Mukoro emphasized the Company’s strong focus on supporting public sector employees and MSMEs across Delta State, and reaffirmed UIDC’s position as a dependable, CBN-licensed finance company fully owned by the Delta State Government through the Ministry of Finance Incorporated (MOFI).
A significant highlight of the visit was the constructive partnership discussion held between UIDC and the University Management. The deliberation centered on the possibility of enabling seamless access to the loan facility for staff of Dennis Osadebay University, anchored on institutional support for salary deductions.
